Tour de France Lancashire is an independent, unofficial visitor and information website. This page sets out who we are, the trademark position, and the terms on which we provide the site.
Independent and unofficial
This website is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or connected to A.S.O. (Amaury Sport Organisation), Grand Départ GB 2027, Grand Départ GB Ltd, Lancashire County Council, any host authority, or any official partner or sponsor of the event. It is produced independently for fans and visitors.
Trademarks
“Tour de France” and “Le Tour de France”, together with related names, the yellow jersey and other event branding, are trademarks of their respective owners, principally A.S.O. We use the name “Tour de France” here only descriptively, to report on and inform the public about the event and its route through Lancashire. We do not use any official logos, emblems, jersey designs or branding, and we do not sell tickets, hospitality, official merchandise or accommodation. All other product and place names are the property of their respective owners.
Accuracy and no warranty
We take care to base everything on official announcements and clearly named sources, and we date information where it matters. Even so, plans change as 2027 approaches. The site is provided in good faith and “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Details such as road closures, timings, fan zones and the exact route are set by the organisers and local authorities, and you should always check official sources before travelling or making arrangements.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from reliance on information on this site, from race-day arrangements, or from the content or availability of any third-party website we link to. Nothing in this notice limits any liability that cannot be limited under English law.

All original artwork, illustrations, the route map and the Lancashire rose emblem on this site are our own. Photographs are used under their stated licences, credited on the image credits list. If you believe any material has been used incorrectly, please get in touch and we will put it right.
